"My PIP Group was my primary support system during those first few months. It was all so foreign, and it was nice to know I wasn't alone."

About PIP

PIP is a nonprofit organization providing community-building groups for new parents in Central Texas.

PIP exists in the community to provide a safe space to share the highs & lows of parenting, grow as a new parent, combat social isolation, and build community.

What is a PIP Group?

  • Weekly meet-up groups for parents & caregivers of all genders to attend with their babies (0-12 months).

  • Our goal is to provide a welcoming and non-judgmental space where families can share the experience of transitioning through new parenthood together.

  • Groups meet on Thursdays at 10 am or 6 pm and meet for 8 consecutive weeks.

What happens during a PIP Group?

  • All parents are invited to share their highs and lows from each week.

  • The group chooses topics related to early parenthood to discuss.

  • Guest speakers are invited to talk about infant development and early parenting topics.

  • Participants gain access to local resources.
