PIP GROUPS FOR PARENTS OF NEWBORNS (2-16 WEEKS)

The first year after your baby’s arrival brings so many emotions: joy, overwhelm, exhaustion, loneliness, awe, and everything in between.

PIP groups provide a welcoming space for new parents to keep it real and find comfort and nourishment through friendship, community resources, and connection.

NEWBORN PROGRAM:

  • WHAT? Facilitated community-building groups for parents & caregivers of all genders to attend with their newborns.

  • WHO? For parents and their infants aged 2-16 weeks.

  • WHEN? Newborn groups meet once a week for 8 consecutive weeks.

  • WHERE? Families have the opportunity to host groups within their homes on a rotating basis or at a community partner location. These locations are great baby-friendly spaces, equipped with toys and soft play areas for babies to explore.

  • COST? Free programming for all!

-PIP is a non-profit dedicated to supporting all families equitably. We rely on support from donations, grants, and sponsorships.

PIP was hands-down the best thing my husband and I did during our first year as new parents. Our group got us through those first few rough months and resulted in friendships that continue to this day (6 years later). It’s the only thing I recommend to new parents!
